Mahabodhi Temple South Korea

Many know that I am an avid energy healer, reader, & clairvoyant. I recently had the most amazing experience when visiting the Mahabodhi Temple in South Korea! Mahabodhi is named after the worlds oldest tree which is located in Sri Lanka. The temple was the first Sri Lankan Buddhist temple to be established in South Korea just over 10 years ago. I was afforded this amazing opportunity through Ms. Doria Garms-Sotelo who writes an amazing travel blog called Doria's Travels.

Doria has been to some of the most amazing places! Take some time and check out her travel blog you will be glad that you did!

Our temple visit began with meeting Monk Wachissara Welanhinne. Here are two pictures of him. One from when he was younger and one from now

He is a very enlightened man who has beautiful energy. You can feel his enlightenment & peace radiate off of him! When I arrived at the temple I had many worldly worries, thoughts and emotions inside of me from my own life. When I met him these energies became silenced and I was able to breathe complete peace for the first time in a few weeks. His peaceful, well-balanced energy reverberates throughout the entire temple and is in direct connection with the Sri Lankan Buddha whose energy can be strongly felt at the temple as well. Here are some pictures of the temple.

A branch from the world's oldest tree has been transplanted and grows at the temple. The energy that radiated from the branch was amazing!

Monk Wachissara Welanhinne showed us the old hand written books of Buddha's teachings that were written on palm tree leaves!

Our adventure in the temple continued with a Sri Lankan/Korean lunch which we shared with Buddha, then with Monk Wachissara Welanhinne, and then got to partake of ourselves!

As we sat in prayer and offering of our lunch with Buddha I felt the Sri Lankan Buddha begin to speak with me about my energy and my path. He touched the center of my Solar Plexus Chakra & my Third Eye. As he did he opened up my path before me. The energy from the path came in visions that were clearer than I had ever seen. Looking at the Sri Lankan Buddha's energy was both beautiful and amazing at the same time. His energy is truly enlightened! The vibrational rate and patterns were of both white & golden energy and the symbol of peace (swastika) was in his forehead. We sat in conversation as he showed me my life path talking about the various things I would overcome on my own path to enlightenment. He smiled and told me that he did not know how but from all the chaos life has been I would create peace. The Tibetan Buddha who has been my mentor and guide for some months now also joined in our conversation. We spoke about many things most of which were ways to allow me the time I need to walk the path of enlightenment while living in an undisciplined structure. They called my structure undisciplined as I do not have the opportunity to live in a temple and devote my life to the disciplines and structure of the Buddhist monks. Yet in this life I am a healer that is to help bring balance to those who need balance and that requires me reaching the level of enlightenment. They call me the healer of lost souls. They talked about my path that was given to me at 14 in which I am to help bring peace and balance the world's religions. To help others to see each other as people and not as Christian, Pagan, Buddhist, or Islamic, but as one people. To teach people above all else how to love. It is a path that has had many difficulties, but as I am now 34 years old I see from my experiences that this is possible. I am grateful to have great leaders and guides to help me on this journey! It was a blessing and an honor to have this conversation with him.

During lunch Monk Wachissara Welanhinne showed me the traditional Sri Lankan herbs that were used in our food.

After lunch we had Sri Lankan coffee and some American chocolate truffles. Doria had brought the truffles as a gift to Monk Wachissara Welanhinne to thank him for having us at his temple. Many people know that my system is very clean because of my fibromyalgia. I drink only water and on occasion a chi latte or freshly squeezed juice from my juicer, I do not take in many sugars on a daily basis, and I never drink coffee. But in such a humble place I was happy to try something new! I really liked how they used a candle set inside of a crystal tray to keep the coffee warm. I had one glass and one chocolate and I could feel the extra energy bursting from me!

We ended the day in good conversation and me getting to show Monk Wachissara Welanhinne how I move energy through a pendulum type device using my hematite bracelet. We talked about the various forms of meditation. He holds a meditation that is open to the public once a month that is on my before I leave Korea bucket list! As we went to leave we received some Sri Lankan tea that is made by Lipton & some delicious Sri Lankan green beans that grew fresh at the temple!

I have traveled to many temples, but here I where I felt the deepest connection to the enlightened spiritual energy & Buddha! If you get the chance this is an amazing place of spiritual energy that you should visit!

~Namaste!~
